Daunorubicin... 2 down and 2 to go. Yesterdays chemo went so much better than the previous week. Lexie is on a lot of anti-emetics but she made it through without any nausea or vomiting. Praising God for His tender care and for guiding the doctors in their choices of drugs to help alleviate the nasty side effects of chemo.
We got the keys to our apartment this morning and dropped off all of our stuff. Even though we are not unpacked or settled, its so nice to have a place to call home!
Doctors were talking this morning about trying to get Lexie's meds all changed over to oral meds instead of IV so we could possibly be discharged next weekend. Please pray that Lexie would tolerate the changes without the nausea returning, pray for protection from all infections while her blood counts are low, specifically for no fevers and for encouragement, that Lexie will not feel defeated or crushed in spirit after her haircut this evening.
More later tonight...

  1. So thankful that this round has gone much better. Grateful for all the antinausea meds doing their jobs! Sending lots of love from the Klingenbergs. So happy about your apartment.
