Lexie woke up this morning feeling well and we anticipate having a little down time until Friday when she gets the daunorubicin again. She is feeling couped up and anxious to leave here.
We got word that our apartment will be ready for move in this Saturday, the 8th. (See the link on the side below Lexie's photo for the address.) They are replacing all the carpet, painting and deep cleaning for us given Lexie's fragile immune system. God continues to amaze us in providing for our needs in ways we never would have imagined. I'm in awe at the intricacy of His work and I am so grateful for all of those who have been nudged by the Holy Spirit to help us during this difficult time.
Not that I am happy by any means to be here, but it has been a blessing that Mack paved the way. It has been comforting to see old friends who became family to us while Mack was inpatient for 7 months. We have the same team of doctors, nurse partitioners and even some nurses. I'm grateful that we don't have to waste energy establishing relationships and trust.
Just wanted to tell you all "thank you" for caring enough and taking the time to keep up with everything that is going on in our lives... and for all the help you have offered.
Our needs are huge...too big to take on by ourselves and there aren't words to express our gratitude!
More later...
